Vulnerability Is Courage

This world, has so much healing to do and this isn’t even a conversation about war, politics or religion. It’s about how resigned, resentful and cynical human beings have become. Everyone seems to know everything. Everyone seems to think their advice is the best advice and give it so willingly even though no one has asked them for it. They believe that, their way of doing is above others and yet they live behind a lie that they don’t force those ideals on anyone else when in fact, they do. And the distrust??? Not everyone has an agenda. Trust is a choice. That’s right…I said that. It’s a choice just like everything else.

There’s going to come a day when you will question what you have achieved in your life. You’re going to look back on your memories and recall moments where you missed opportunities because you were afraid of being vulnerable and I can promise you that on that day…you’re going to wish you told those you love how much you love them, that you need them, that you care for them, that you’re sorry and be honest about who you really are because it’s going to be in that moment you realise, that being vulnerable means you have courage. It means you have strength. It means that you are connected and alive. It means that even the risk of heart break, doesn’t break you. Being vulnerable…makes you real. And my goodness is the world lacking in realness.
